The Eastern Cape is the second largest of South Africa’s nine provinces and is situated between the Western Cape and KwaZulu Natal, and bordered by the Orange River and Drakensberg Mountains. The state is the traditional home of the Xhosa people and offers visitors a huge variety of things to do from the arid Heartlands and its abundant wildlife to the beautiful shorelines overlooking the Indian Ocean. Port Elizabeth and East London are the major towns although the Wild Coast, the Sunshine Coast and the Karroo are obvious visitor attractions.

 

Frontier Country, Greater Addo and Amotola are perfect enviro –tourism destinations while Northern Ukhahlamba and Baviaanskook are areas of breath taking beauty.
