A wildlife reseach unit has been established the garden route for interns, students and adventure seekers.

Exciting research kicks off in the Garden Route...

Students and research interns will start following the behavioural patterns of small predators in the area. This includes but not limited to caracal, African wild cat and cape leopard. They will be shown how to approach these animals in the wild. Spending time living in the bush will give them the opportunity to really experience the wonders of the African bush up close.

Research area will cover 14000 ha in unspoiled wilderness. Two great institutions have teamed up and created the first terrestrial wildlife unit in this area. Nkonzo Bush Academy and Oceans Campus.
